Crescent place is a privately owned student accommodation block in Southampton city centre. The facility is for students from both of the city’s universities and is one of The Student Housing Company’s alternatives to university owned halls of residence.
The Student Housing Company attempts to make university life as simple as possible for their tenants, with bills and Wi-Fi included within the rent, 24-hour staff on hand, post services and on-site gyms, laundrettes and social areas.
This style of student living is becoming significantly more popular and The Student Housing Company has sites in 16 other UK cities and six other countries. Crescent Place is one of two Southampton locations owned by the housing company.
It consists of 476 bedrooms over 13 storeys and comprises a multi-purpose high-rise block as well as 6 individual townhouses.
JB Associates worked with both JB Hopkins and Bouygues UK in the development of this Southampton based Student accommodation. We provided post contract surveying and commercial management for this mechanical-services-only JB Hopkins project.
