Data Centre Stage 1 Options Design
During this stage of works our specialist team assessed the following two options particular to this project:
- Option 1 Units 1 and 2 demolished, new build data centre constructed
- Option 2 Unit 1 demolished, Unit 2 retained, refurbished and extended
Each option was assessed against the following key criteria:
- Technical Feasibility
- Environmental Impact and Sustainability
- Planning Considerations and Implications
- Value for Money / Costs
- Programme / Lead-in Times
- Opportunities Offsite Modular Solutions
- Impact to Business-as-Usual Operations
Our design pack took the form of a single Options Study Report, detailing the findings and outcomes of the options assessed.
This report helped inform the decision by the client on which option to select and progress to the next stage of development with.
