For our clients we continually produce developed and technical designs through stage 3-5 and support during the tender stages.
RIBA Stage 3 – Developed Design
We develop the designs further from a spatial coordination perspective, to align the MEPH services to the main Architectural and Structural elements.
Principle system details are ascertained and primary distribution sizes determined, including sectional information where required.
Cost data is further updated to reflect the developed design.
RIBA Stage 4 – Technical Design
The spatially coordinated design is further developed, including full calculations, selection and sizing for all systems, including specialist Contractor Design Portions (CDP) where appropriate.
Builder work drawings are prepared through significant structural members.
Input by specialists is sought and integrated into the design where required.
Cost data is again further updated to reflect the technical design.
Tender Stage
We work alongside your commercial team to support with tender / RFP packs, review contractor return proposals for technical compliance & value for money and attend contractor interviews if required.
A final tender report is then prepared comprising all contractor proposal information, concluding with a recommendation for contractor selection for the works.
